 After a brief stay in Miami, we boarded our plane to Tegucigalpa.  The flight was only two hours, and we drove in to the mountains to the HEIFER Center.  We had cold showers, but the great company kept us warm.  We heard from the project partners and previewed the sites we would be visiting throughout the week.  Luisa was a great host, she prepared three meals a day for us, it was delicious.  Gloria took great pride in showing us the eco-friendly Center, including the stove that burns extremely hot with very little wood.
